Well, we finally did it! We are leaving the kids at home and going on a "trip" together! This is the first time in our 14 year marriage that we have done this. Sean is working in San Francisco all of this week and I am here to spend time with him when he's not!
I must admit: I was (and still am, if I'm telling the truth) pretty nervous to leave my kiddos. I know they are in good hands though and will be just fine!
So far we just checked in to our hotel and Sean went to work. I had full intentions of leaving and walking around the city. My anxiety kicked in and I am still talking myself into it! lol I am getting hungry though so I have to talk quickly! It's either those $4.00 M&M Candies over there or walk to Subway or California Pizza Kitchen and get something. EEEK! Guess I am still that small town girl lol. The city can be intimidating!
